Welcome to my new website.

I start each studio day with lots of coffee and  sometimes a Safeway apple fritter....I love to paint! 

On the canvas the color and form begins a visual  dialogue as conversation. Images and content develope from  layering acrylic  glazes building from bottom to top.  I intertwine drawing and painting  to build a composition which results in story making  and short  vignettes from the world I know and experience .  I really like to  pretend. Its a world I know well, secret places that reveal itself to  me, as a whisper, a knowing, a hoping , or a prayer.
